Leadership: Jerry Julian

Dr. Julian has been helping blue-chip companies improve operations and technology performance for almost two decades. His clients have included GE Capital, J.P. Morgan Chase, Gartner, Sotheby’s, Pfizer, BMW, Vanguard, Johnson & Johnson, Eastman Kodak and many more.

Before starting Julian Advisory Group over eight years ago, he began his career at Accenture and was a Vice President at Rath & Strong, a leading global management consultancy in the area of Lean and Six Sigma performance improvement, where he served as engagement lead and master black belt coach.

He has advised scores of IT leaders and business executives in the development of lean business transformation strategies, the identification and selection of project opportunities, the management of mission-critical programs, and the delivery of product and software development improvements that leverage the talents of internal project managers and teams.

His research focuses on organizational learning in project-based organizations, with particular emphasis on lean and agile practices for product and software development organizations.

Dr. Julian holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University, an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a doctorate in Adult & Organizational Learning from Teachers College, Columbia University.
